We weren't too sure where to have a bite to eat, as it was the first time we'd visited Swadlincote. After looking around the shops, we happened to find Sweet Caroline's, as they had gluten free options available. It didn't take us long to be seated and the menu had quite a few options. The staff were very friendly and took out order swiftly. The wait wasn't too long and we were very impressed! I particularly enjoyed the panini and crisps I had, although I can't quite remember what it was (has brie in it!) Whatever it was, it was superb and hit the spot nicely! Was great alongside my ruby hot chocolate, which I'd never had until then but will definitely be having it again! Stop by this place, if ever you're feeling peckish in Swad!

Lovely as always, had the Ploughman‘s lunch platter for two today, more than enough for the two of us, and presented lovely on the wooden board. Thankyou

A lovely cafe within Sharpe's pottery. Light and airy space with plenty of menu selections. Beautifully cooked and presented food. The breakfasts are extremely tasty and very good value. Staff are friendly and helpful. Small car park to the front of the pottery or a few spaces in a parking layby on the road.

We had our daughter’s baby shower there and everything was perfect. The food was amazing as was the service Caroline and her team provided. Can thoroughly recommend. We have also eaten there for lunch and breakfast and both times the food was exceptional along with the service. This cafe is an absolute gem, if you haven’t been yet please do so you won’t be disappointed. Thank you to Caroline and her team.

Caroline and her team assisted with hosting my sister's baby shower and afternoon tea. It was a fabulous afternoon, hired privately, the food was fantastic and a lovely venue in the heart of Swadlincote. Caroline was helpful before and during the event and was very efficient in her communications. I would highly recommend.
